Gil A. Yarra, MD, FPSO-HNS

Dr. Gil A. Yarra received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at Velez College and MD at the Cebu Institute of Medicine. He completed his ENT training at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center and is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He is the immediate past president of the Philippine Society of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Southeast Mindanao Chapter and is the present chair of the Department of Otolaryngology of the Davao Medical Center. Dr. Yarra’s special medical interests include maxillofacial trauma and sleep. His personal interests are snorkeling, golf, travel, and charity work.

Christine D. Dayanghirang, MD, FPSO-HNS

Dr. Christine D. Dayanghirang achieved her BS Biology and MD degrees at the University of the Philippines. She received her ENT training at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Dayanghirang is an associate professor at the Davao Medical School Foundation. Her special medical interests include sleep, head and neck, thyroid and pediatric otolaryngology. Dr Dayanghirang is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Her personal interests are fitness and health, dancing and singing.

Veronica F. Magnaye, MD, FPSO-HNS

Dr. Veronica F. Magnaye received her BS Biology degree at the University of Santo Tomas, and her MD at the University of the Philippines. She finished ENT training at the Philippine General Hospital and is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Magnaye is an associate professor in Otolaryngology at the Davao Medical School Foundation. She is a frequent speaker on sinusitis and allergy and hearing disorders. Her special medical interests include hearing, voice and swallowing and head and neck tumors and infections. Her personal interests include advocacy for disadvantaged women and children, visual arts and crafts, reading and interior design.

Danilo Legita, MD, FPSO-HNS

Dr. Danilo R. Legita finished his BS Psychology and MD degrees at the University of the Philippines. He completed his ENT training at the Philippine General Hospital and is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Legita’s special medical interests include prosthesis in ENT (at which he received special training at PGH), cleft lip and palate, head and neck and vertigo and hearing.

Homer M. Matias, MD, FPSO-HNS

Dr. Homer M. Matias earned his BS Biology and MD degrees at the Far Eastern University. He finished his ENT training at the Davao Medical Center and is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Matias went on to train on Facial Plastic Surgery at the Facial Aesthetic Core of ENT Surgeons (FACES). He is the founder of the Cleft Lip and Palate Program of the Sultan Kudarat Doctors Hospital in Tacurong City. His special medical interests are facial plastic surgery, cleft lip and palate, head and neck and thyroid surgery. Dr. Matias’ personal interests include health and fitness, and computers.
